When did you start riding When I was 14 I mowed lawns and saved up for my first mountain bike.

Do you come from a Moto or BMX background? I rode BMX when i was really young but moved up to 26 when I was big enough.

Wheres your favorite place to ride? Whistler is always fun, you get to do so much riding so quickly and there is such a wide range of trails to choose from. But other than that, I love building and riding at Beacon Hill in Spokane, WA where i have been going to school for the last two years.

What is your favorite trick? My favorite trick is probably a shoulder buzzer. It feels so sick to get the bike all wrenched around your body and they look awesome for cameras.

If you weren't riding, what would an ideal day be? When i have a day off, I pretty much always go build. I love building almost as much as I love riding, so if the weather is to knarly for riding, or an injury has me off my bike, i spend as much time building new trails and shaping up jumps as possible. It's a good workout and everyone benefits from having more sick trails to ride.

Who/What has had the biggest influence on your life? Before I moved to Spokane for school, i was dedicated DH rider, but after riding at Beacon Hill I crossed over to being a jump rider and I havent looked back.

Who do you most admire in your sport? Why? When i started riding in Spokane I met Atomlab rider Joe Perrizo. He is an amazing rider and throws down bigger than anyone i know. But i look up to him most in the way he acts and treats other riders. He doesnt have a big ego and is always down to ride with anyone who loves bikes.

What next for you? My biggest goal is to attend as many comps as possible. Also, i'll be filming some more trails that have yet to debut to the world so I'm pretty stoked for that, I think it will get riders fired up, and that's my goal.
